Social isolation is a symptom of schizophrenia which reduces or even incapacitates the ability to interact. Individuals who lose the ability to interact will result in hallucinations, neurological deficits, risk of dementia, poor quality of life, increased symptom severity, decreased medication adherence and death. Treatment of social isolation can use drugs and modality therapy such Socialization Group Activity Therapy (SGAT). SGAT is useful for training client's interaction skills. This study aimed to determine the analysis of the provision of SGAT to increase interaction skills. The study used a case study design with pre and post tests to determine interaction skills before and after SGAT. A respondent was choosen with inclusion criteria were willing to be respondents, cooperative, and had social isolation problems. SGAT was given 1 session/day for 45 minutes. There is an increase in interaction skills before and after being given SGAT sessions 1-4 for 4 days. SGAT can increase openness so that it creates a sense of mutual trust with other fellow members and creates a sense of security and joy. In conclusion, SGAT sessions 1-4 can improve client interaction skills.
